Had Horrible Leylandii Trees ‘Shaved’ Down On Our Side Of The Garden ( No Nests)

Our neighbour is having the cut right down, my question is, does anyone know what I could use to cover ‘hide’ it ? It looks very unsightly and I thought some kind of windbreak but most aren’t tall enough

I agree it does look rough at the moment (not talking about the smalls on the washing line). Seriously, though, that kind of fence would lend itself to climbers. Steer clear of "Russian vine, though"!

Tea cake if you seriously think my husband is going to mow the grass when those cutting the trees down are dragging them across it then you’re even dafter than I thought but worry not when the jobs done I’ll leave you a special FAO just for you eh? Now how nice would that be for you MRS Teacake ;0))))
I just imagined your back garden to look like, lets say a RAF barracks, without a blade of grass out of place.
