Squirrels

Has anyone on here used a laser pen to scare squirrels off their bird feeders?
I've tried loud noises, and a hose pipe, but to no avail.
If the pen doesn't work, then I'm going down the BB gun route.

We have a couple of shepherds crook type bird feeders and invested in a couple of these baffles which have completely stopped the squirrels. It's hilarious watching them running up the pole and bashing their heads on the baffles

If only it was that simple, margo. They can jump from nearby hedges, shrubs and the bird bath.

Luckily we can situate ours well away from any of these things in the middle of the lawn just outside the patio doors
