Compensation From Dfs
21 Answers
When it looked unlikely that I would receive my sofas before Christmas even though I ordered them on August 1st, I phoned DFS to ask if they could offer me some compensation and was told they would refund the delivery charge but, they haven't confirmed this in any way and haven't sent the money.
If I were to phone them, I have no way of proving they said this.
Do you think they will believe me?

Best thing to do is to call them being polite ( although I’m sure you are anyway) and calmly tell them the situation, I know as previously working in Customer Service for some years, if a person phoned with all guns blazing, same as face to face, then immediately my hackles would rise , if you get someone that you feel isn’t giving it the attention it deserves then ask to speak to a manager, you may get ‘all our managers are busy right now, ‘politely say ‘ I’ll wait
