House Survey

I'm not sure if this is the correct section to post this in. I used to work for a building society but a long time ago and I know that things change. A friend has asked if a full survey would would pick up if some of the walls were clad with an asbestos mix

The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors refers to 'Level 1', 'Level 2' and 'Level 3' surveys, rather than using terms such as 'full survey'. A Level 3 survey should identify the type of problem that you refer to:
