smelly fridge

Help! my immaculately clean 3 yo fridge smells like a dustbin. I have cleaned and disinfected it 4 times and aired it out. ANY suggestions welcome!

Hi Kit. We're having a similar problem in this area but not on buildings. We have a major road works scheme going on and about a fortnight ago we were told that the contractors doing the work had gone bust and the work just stopped all of a sudden. Anyway the top and tail is that the Council have employed another contractor and work starts again on Monday but wont be finished now until Christmas. I think it will be a good because it will take a lot of traffic from our area. when I moved up here it used to be a very small shopping area but it has been developed over the years and has now become a large suburb but I still love living here.
I don't regret giving the ring to my D-in-L. and I know she will look after it. It really is very much like that photo just a slightly more twisted knot for the sapphire.
Let's hope the repairs to your building are satisfactory. I wouold feel a bit chocka with it all as you do especialloy the dust.
I've bought a new CD today by Robert Plant (from Led Zeppelln) called Band of Joy so I'm going to have a listen to it.

Funny thing happened, Woofy, I was sure I had a god/dog cartoon saved and after watching your vid I wanted to post it so I searched for it using the word god. I have a gazillion dog piccies on my hard drive but not too many of god, you see;-) so I figured a 'god' search would render me mercifully fewer search results. Robi could it be 'rebound headaches', somebody I studied together with had them and she had had no idea that you can actually get headaches from headache medication cos well you wouldn't think so, would you, but she managed to turn that situation around, once she knew about it. (But do see the doctor, mind!)

yes, apparently aspirins have to have a warning 'Caution, may cause headaches' or something similar these days.

Hmmm, may soon be time for an extra blanket on the bed. I don't want to rush things, as I need to have something in reserve for midwinter. The plan at the moment is to spend as much of it as possible in a different hemisphere; hopefully a sis or two can put me up.

Love the cartoon Kit, it was a mate of DH's (my mate too) who came round to drool over the new bike. He arrived at 15.45, was only supposed to be a pop in visit, still there gossiping at 18.00. he's a nice man, great sense of humour, i didn't know it when i met him but I know his wife's Mum, she owns one of the private rest homes where I had patients when i worked. It wasn't the poshest but has a lovely family feel to it.

Morning all ,are you joshing about your weather ?it's still Autumn and should be lovely and mild ! You can tell I've been gone a long time ,can't you . Well although it is Spring ,we are having a couple of weeks of showers to make sure everything grows ready for Summer when the Bush fires start -how cynical I am these days .
Good luck to Mr,Woofy on the 4th . good news for Mr,S. home safe and sound from hospital. Robi sorry to hear of your headaches ,do go to the docs .though are you still worrying about your Ozzie family -I'm sure they'll be fine and you'll be wending your way over here soon.Our Spring and Autumn are the best times to come .
Hi Jude (love that song) Í'm on steroids this week -have been poorly all week ,caught Mr.D's touch of flu etc which turned into nights of streaming noses followed by sore throat and then coughing -chest as sore as hell -full of gunk so out come the steroids to stop the infection getting worse (I always keep steroids handy because of the state of my lungs) .They don't keep me awake but the coughing does ! Anyway easing off now but thank heavens for Tena Ladies !!!
Have you googled colitis Jude -could be an infection or aoyo-immune system down. Hope the steroids work soon for you .

Just popping in for a quick visit. Gosh was so cold here last night, I really enjoyed it although I forgot how cold it can get. Met a lot of the family last night and had a good laugh and daughter met her uncles and cousins, some for the first time!

Can you believe it, Mr N actually went out to mend a leaking toilet yesterday! I was furious! He should be resting!

ha Neti, while the cat is a way the mice will....go out and mend toilets??????? not sure that sounds right. We are pottering and odd jobbing today. I have pulled out the blankets and rearranged the airing cupboard and we took a whole big carload of cardboard to the tip (recycling) DH is tidying his desk (actually he is scanning ebay but he thinks I haven't noticed. Roast turkey crown for dinner. I am girding my loins to go and do ironing.

HI Biddyfriends. Dull and cold all day today, Had heating on for quite a while. First time for months. I went for a walk this morning but only for about 45 mins. When I got back I went mad and cleaned everywhere. Had a quiet day other than that.. Just one phone call from my Sister who has been to Bude for 3 days with her daughter and grandaughters. Her Daughter was playing in her band (Anominata) and had a gig down there so they decided to make a short break of it.
Did you get round to doing your Gully Grids Robi? I wouldn't have bothered in this cold weather.
HI Dolly good to see you. My colitis seems to be settling down a bit today but not right yet. I have 3 more lots of steroids to take. I have a friend along the way who has the same and he has been taking steroids since July so compared to him I'm doing well. The poor man has to go for another sigmoidoscopy on Friday. I feel really sorry for him. He's on 8 steroids a day.
Going to watch the Snooker final tonight. Am I the only Bid on here who likes Snooker and Footie. Btw Derby won 5 - (yes 5) 0 yesterday. (thought I just slip that one in.)

Just popped in before going to bed. Sorry to have neglected you all over the last few days and haven't now got time to go through your posts.

We are off to Yorkshire in the morning, but I have a feeling it may well be the afternoon now - Not having a good weekend, trying to get organised to go away. The weather has been diabolical and the tumble drier has been busy all weekend. Mr LL has been trying to plant a new hedge in between deluges of water. It literally hasn't stopped here all day today.

I have a cold and feel tired and crabby and the dishwasher has just decided to catch fire. There was a large bang and a lot of smelly black smoke!! Just what we needed. More expense!!

Morning all. My avatar is about to change. I have to cheer myself up a bit so am reverting to my fave man.
A bit dull and damp here today. I don't think creosoting is likely to be done at all at the mo.
Lottie you get packed and away and have a good relaxing break. Even if it's raining as long as you are staying somewhere comfortable and warm you will be fine.
I'm at school this afto I really look forward to it. I have a new set of 5 year olds today. Will be interesting.

morning all, took the boys out as usual this am then back to bed till 10.00....lovely. We all feel better for it. For lively active dogs, the boys are real idlers, its one of their favourite things to sleep with the bosses lol
