Solar Lighting Problem
4 Answers
I purchased a solar lighting kit for my shed (no instruction manual supplied), but it looked fairly easy to set up.
I fitted the solar panel in a sunny position on the roof and left it to charge up, but unfortunately it seems to be dead as a dodo. It's a double pendant type, battery included, film removed, remote control switched to ON position, but still no power.
I would be grateful for any help or suggestions.

Check its switched to 'on' regardless of what your remote says, also check there is not a piece of plastic or cardboard next to the battery chamber preventing connection. this is often placed there to save the battery form going on and off if the solar panel is exposed to light.
Thanks guys,
I have removed the plastic tab from the battery compartment, but it could still be a dud one (Disc type). I pressed a small white button from behind the solar panel, but that doesn't seem to have done any good either.
The remote has a tiny bulb at one end but that also fails to light up
