Ovo Fuel Bill Help, Please
3 Answers
This is not my bill but we are confused about it. I have been on hold with Ovo and given up for now so hope someone here can help.
It seems that the £66 government help is taken off the bill and so the amount paid is £66 less than it should have been.
All straightforward so far except Ovo pays that £66 in to the bank account (I know it is £67 some months and is ending soon) so it seems to us that we are receiving the money twice - once off the bill and again in to the bank account.
I did ask here for my own Ovo bill a while back but to be honest I couldn't grasp it then.

The total cost of your energy use, plus 'Interest Reward' and VAT, is reduced by the EBSS amount, to give the 'Total charges' but the EBSS amount is then taken off your balance as a 'Refund' as shown under 'Your balance'. There is therefore no net effect on how much you have paid for the energy used.
