Rhubarb

Been reading anothee post about gardens and it reminded me to ask about rhubarb. My crown has suddenly decided to try to take over the garden, never had so much before. Can I freeze it? Never done this before but there is just so much that I don't want to waste.
I too have lost a beautiful fuchsia over winter.

It freezes really well. I must do something with ours which seems rampant this year.

We lost no end of stuff - all the pelargoniums which were stored indoors got frosted when we had a really cold spell and snow lay on the ground for a week; about 15 fuschias (including my favourite pair which were the first thing that Mr BM bought me when we reunited 6 years ago); quite a few perennials, several hostas and all but 2 of the 10 dinner plate dahlias. I think a lot of things struggled with the severe heat in the summer and then had to cope with a really cold snap.

Mrs Khandro makes a very nice rhubarb pie with a crust made from crumbled English digestive biscuits; not easy to find here, but she has a source.
In fact we have one on the go at the moment & I'll have some with cream with my lunch.
