"My mrs bought some Dunelm branded paint for £13.60 for 2.5L
It’s lovely and thick and creamy. Deep pigment colours. Clings to the brush. Cuts in lovely. Rolls well. Great coverage. Literally can’t fault it from a DIYers perspective."

There aren't that many paint manufacturers anyway. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Dunelm range was actually made by Akzo Nobel, just up the road from me, who make Dulux.

If you're looking for good value paint that consistently gets good reviews, don't forget Wilko's own brand. It's made by PPG (which is part of Akzo Nobel), who also make Dulux, Johnstone's and Leyland paints:

Actually, Wilko is what I've been using for years. Very good quality for the most part.
But...they've been having supply issues for the past year. A colour I'd kind of settled on is not in stock. When that happens it could be weeks before it returns.
And of course the possible closure of Wilko shops is a worry.
