Good morning. We have a marble effect fireplace surround and we want to paint it, what good quality paint do I have to use. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks

They're usually painted to finish, but if you want to go down a more traditional route, you can use a multi-surface primer. I've always used Zinsser specialist primers. Then you can undercoat and finish with whatever you like in standard or colour-mixed.
