Straw Flowers

How do I treat Straw Flowers to keep for 'Eternity'? I have some Stachys but all I did with those was pick them and put them in a vase. I have not been able to find any info on Straw Flowers so far. many thanks.

Only the heads of strawflowers are 'everlasting' you need to take them off the stems and create fake stems with wires and florist tape
