Couldn't believe my eyes on our day out today ....£1 per person to enter the pier. You can come and go all day once you have paid ...  or give another family your ticket when you leave and save them some money haha.

Wait a few days and you can go on for free.  (The £1 fee only applies during peak periods, which run up until the end of this month).
