Delivery of corner sofa
4 Answers
I've ordered one of those large corner sofas, it's acually an L shape. What are the usual arrangements for delivery? Would the sofa come in 2 parts in order to get it in the house? Just worried it's not gonna get thru the front door!!

They have a good idea what will and won't go through a doorway. Some may just leave it outside if it won't go through,"Not our problem" they may say. Another way if you have double glazing with a single large section, is to remove the glazing unit. I would tell the company of your concern and take it from there.

It will almost certainly come in two parts which click together. Each of these parts must be able to fit through the minimum architectural standard sized doors. The walls that are adjacent to the doors ie opposite can be a problem if the length of one of the parts is longer than the door height. Got that! The skill of the delivery men is more of a factor - but if it is ground floor access there should be no problem.
