red wine stain on carpet

Tell you what is damn good though...Oxy clean..in a spray bottle. It cleaned a whole glass of red wine out of my new carpet! You can get it from supermarkets anywhere!

oxy clean is very good as is vanish mousse. I had a glass of port spilled on my carpet at new year and, being drunk at the time, i only noticed it the following day. There ias not a trace of it now

dont use vanish in wash stain remover though, cos although you can make it into a paste to remove all stains, you cant use it on wool.. more fool me!

not much use now, but for future spills...when the stain in wet cover it in loads of salt, and hoover when dry I was completely amazed at the result! It really does work!!
