Does anyone know where i can buy ex-dispaly furniture?? Waht do places like M&S and harveys do with all the ex-display stuff?? is there a web site or big warehouse somewhere in the UK that sells it on??

Most places just sell it themselves - ask in customer services. I bought an ex-display suite from a furniture chain in august

I wonder whether a discount village like Bicester might have what you are looking for? I have never been to Bicester myself but in case you'd like to investigate the details are; Bicester Village, 50 Pringle Drive, Oxon OX26 5WD. it's near Jct. 9 of the M40, follow signs for Bicester, it will be marked off the A41.

I don't think you'll find what you're after in Bicester Village - I live just up the road from it. It's mostly clothes. Time was you could get amazing bargains there but as the car park got fuller of expensive cars the really big discounts seem to have gone.

I'd imagine unsold furniture is probably sold to disposal companies and winds its merry way to eBay these days!

I also vaguely remember reading in the Eve. Sta. about a showroom where you can pick up amazing bargains on furniture that was bought to make TV programs, unfortunately I do not seem to have kept that info.
