Lucky bamboo

I have purchased one of those small Lucky Bamboo displays with about 12 stems. How do I go about propagating further stems to make it bigger?

If I remove the wax caps they have, will that cause them to grow?

hi, my friend & I bought these, they were arranged in a way that would make them look like a xmas tree when grown, we looked after them exactly how it said to on the card but they both died pretty quick, & looked like rotted bits of twigs!

I've had two of them so far, however, not much luck with either of them.

My mother's got one and it sprouts little shoots all over the place.

She's not removed the wax caps.

my mam had 2, she removed the wax caps and keeps them in water and they've grown massive, she hasn't yet repotted them as she's worried they'll die
