Singing Christmas cake stand!!!!

So far this year I have seen singing and dancing Reindeer, Snowmen, Gnomes, Fairies and every conceivable type of Father Christmas - all good fun - but what about a cake stand with flashing coloured lights that sings 'Jingles Bell?' A tiny bit OTT do you think?

And there's the slow creeping plague of decorated gardens and houses as well - arrrggghhhh!

I love Christmas BUT some of things they make are awful!!! and a singing cake stand beats the lot!!

Yeh Cupra, there's 2 houses about a mile away from me in the same street that compete each Christmas to see who can cover their house and garden with the tackiest decorations, I hate that side of it

Do I detect a hint of the green eye, stephaniel? As the cake stand is 8 inches I feel your ear lobes might end up on your shoulders!!! ....and tw, I partake of the red grape not the granny brown stuff ;-)

My uncle used to be a singing Christmas cake stand. Holding cake in one hand, knife in tother, singing Oh Christmas Cake. The more we laughed, the sillier got the song, much to the chagrin of my aunt who has tried to keep him hidden in the back of the cupboard ever since. Perhaps she'd have liked him better with the flashing lights.
