Can anyone suggest how to bring the surfaces of my thakhet tables back to their former glory!. I have used wax on them as suggested but over a couple of years people have put cups down on them etc etc. and there are marks and scratches etc. The largest table appears to have lost all the original stain and is a completely different colour to the rest.

Rub the surface very gently with extra fine wire wool.

Apply Indian Rosewood stain very sparingly and rub well in.

When completely dry, apply bees wax sparingly. Buff to a polish and repeat.
