Hi!

We have just started to make our own wine for the first time. The red is ready to bottle tonight and looks great. We have got a white wine underway, it is on Day7 and I was wondering whether the colour of it was right. It started out cloudy, which we expected and it has now gone a honey like colour, is this right? We sterilised everything but with us being new just a bit of reassurance that it is supposed to look this way would be great :o)

Thanx for any replies!

Sounds OK to me, if it is only on its seventh day of fermentation it should still be a bit cloudy and frothy as the yeast will still be hard at work!

Cool, thanx Impret-Sir! It is still going quite frothy too, so hopefully in a few weeks we should be sipping homemade wine :o)
