A bottle fell into my vanity handbasin cracking it badly. I have to replace it but it is a cream colour {champagne} and no shop locally seems to stock it. Can anyone help and let me know of anywhere in the London area (east) where I might get one

If you have an insurance policy that covers this then you may be able to get their advice. Alternatively, if you know the make then you could locate the manufacturer to ask for your nearest stockist. Finally, you could visit any plumbers' merchant and ask for advice. You may have already tried one or all of these though.
Since you are in the London area, it is worth trying Miscellanea here http://www.miscellanea.co.uk This place is near Farnham in Surrey and it buys up discontinued colours and styles from the major UK manufacturers as well as supplying all manner of other bathroom stuff. It won't be as cheap as the original though - there's a price to be paid for them warehousing discontinued lines for years on end. Your insuraqnce should cover it.
