Ta dot :) even when ive forgot that ive left a pan on and it boils over? im always doing that when im multi tasking in the kitchen (as we do )
I think I am correct in saying that provided your current cooker is connected by the plug-in type of connector you are as entitled to unplug it and plug in a different one as anyone else, and as unplugging or plugging in an electric appliance. However, have you considered going for an induction hob - these are every bit as flexible in operation as gas is and a d-sight cleaner and safer. There is no residual heat and as soon as you turn it down boiling stops - there is also a sensor that switches it off when you boil the pot dry while attending to that important other chore.
