You'll have to park it on the Greek side and go over on foot. Vehicle crossings are strictly permanent residents only - no red-plate vehicles need apply! I live part of the year in Cyprus but I don't own a Cypriot-registered car, so I have to hire; I have to drive to Nicosia, park there and walk over at the Ledra Palace Hotel checkpoint to visit the north. No sweat really, as public transport in the north is easy and cheap. Oh - and I've no idea about the price of cigarettes - I don't smoke. Sorry!
