Got a new computer at weekend Acer laptop Windows XP home. Loaded the usual stuff, spy ware blaster/ search and destroy windows defender etc, also zone alarm and AVG. My problem is I can't change my home page it's stuck on bbc.co.uk when I go to tools internet options use current that address comes up ok but as soon as I hit apply it goes blue the way internet explorer address window goes before you start typing, I then hit ok and then I open tools options again and it's reverted to bbc.co.uk, anybody help it's driving me mad, cheers.

Have you got Spybot installed?

Go to the "Immunize" section of Spybot.
Is "Lock IE Start Page Settings" ticked?
If so, uncheck it.

Sorry - in Spybot you need to go to 'tools' then 'IE tweaks'

no luck there I'm afraid, checked it out as you said and there was no tick in that box anyway, thanks anyway, Dougie.
