Hair spray on glasses

How can I remove hair spray from my glasses? It is like looking through a frosted window. Many thanks!

I am always getting hairspray on my sun specs and usually wash them under warm water with a tiny spot of shampoo. Does the trick for me

Simple washing up liquid (i.e. Fairy Liquid) and warm water always does a great job.

Nail polish remover always worked for me, but that was in the days of the really thick hairspray!

Bit worried about nail polish as the lens these days are not glass and nail polish melts false nails. Not sure if lens are some sort of plastic.

Either a drop of hand washing liquid, washing up liquid or a kitchen wipe (I use the ones from Lidl mostly). They dry with a clean cloth and they will be fine. Happy New Year!
