INK Stain Removal

A visiting friend of my teenage daughter appears to have 'stencilled' a pattern / something similar, perhaps some transfer ink dye onto a good set of coloured cotton sheets! Tried all the usual supermarket ' ink / dye / stain ' removers + diluted bleach + copious elbow grease, but nothing will shift these seeming indelible artistic works from my sheets! Reluctant to use stronger bleach mixture or neat bleach, fearing that the colour will go. Any body know of a remedy, please?

may be .... but I am looking for an answer that 'rescues' my sheets ... not one that gets me down to the local nick on an assault charge!

Well if all of the above you mentioned hasn't shifted it, I doubt it is going to come out I'm afraid, not without doing any damage to the sheets :o(
Is it worth taking them down to your local dry cleaners and see if they have anything or any advice on how to shift it?

Prehaps (if the artwork is any good and not offensive) you could say they are the latest thing in designer sheets ;o)

Somebody on this site recommended me to try Dylon colour stripper from some daffodil yellow sheets because I hated the colour. I don't know whether this would remove the stencilled pattern from your sheets. It would probably remove the colour as well so possibly not a solution.
The only other thing I can suggest is that you try ringing up a tattooist and see what they use for removing tattoos. They might have access to some kind of colour remover that isn't normally available in the shops and if it's OK to use on human skin, it probably might be OK to use on cotton sheets.

I'd be furious if a visitor did this to me and I'd be tempted to send the sheets to the teenage friend's daughter and ask her if she has any suggestions for removing the stencil as her daughter might have tried this on her sheets too,. If she hasn't ask her if she'd be prepared to replace them as you don't want to have to used damaged sheets for other visitors. That might teach her to tell her daughter to be better behaved when she goes visiting!

You could dye the sheet a darker colour, not ideal I know but it will still be functional and the marks would not show.

I keep doing this with hubby's white shirts when the collars get too much.

my hubby used to date a waitress , she got pn ink on her shirts all the time , she soaked the shirt , {where the stain was in hairspray} washed it as normal and it worked everytime.
I would give that a go , I also wouldnt have the teenage friend comming for a visit again any time soon.

Use house cleaning products to remove ink stains by using warm water add 2 tbps dishwasher liquid to remove ink stain off, dab the fabric on the mixture and leave it to 15 minutes and then scrub it nicely if the stains still left then using 4 tbsp baking soda directly scrub on the spot to remove ink stain after wash it with clean water...
