Will the following things have added any value to my house, which I bought about 6 months ago? Or do these sort of things not matter?

New front door - old one was brown & had to kick it to open it... new one is UPVC to match the windows
New airing cupcoard door - old one was on runners, but kept coming off
Re-decorated throughout (everything was pink!)
New carpet in master bedroom
Moved shed from ridiculous position by window - was blocking light getting in to the room
Tidied front & back gardens & painted fence

I wouldn't say this sort of work will add value - most people expect the door to open freely, the decorating to be fresh and the gardens tidy.

However, this work will certainly help the house to sell more quickly.

Ok... but as the whole house was decorated pink, & the front door didn't open freely, might I have bought the house for less than I would have if it was decorated with a new door?? I mean, might it have previously been under-valued due to these things neeing doing?
you might find people will offer the ansking price rather than knock you down (if all the works done and the place is nice and fresh)
it's bound to be worth more than you paid for it initially (and hopefully more than you spent doing it up). However, as they are largely cosmetic changes it may add a couple of grand rather than pots of cash. It really depends on the market in your area, and whether your house is now a serious contender in its price range. Get a quote from some local estate agencies (no obligation to sell) so you have an idea of its new value.
Yes they do matter. I know people who buy properties and do what you did to yours and sell them within less thana month to make a profit. Minimum profit of 10,000 on a 1 bedroom flat in London costing 175,000
