Plastic bottle tops.

Not too sure where to post this. Does anyone know which charities collect plastic bottle tops?

There was a wind up going round last year . In my area the kids got involved , the Guides got involved , there were bags of the tops being collected all over the place . Colllect them for charity we were told and then it came out as a hoax /myth /April fool type thing . Nobody knew what to do with them in the end . Just recycle them .

I remember hundreds of years ago when I was a youth, we used to save all the milk bottle tops and the Cubs would come around and collect all the tin foil.

Some areas won't accept them in the recycling so you would need to check first.

Yes.I remember,I used to save all cigarette packet foil and the foil from around chocolate as well for some charity or other. I wonder why he collecting stopped

i work in a pre-school and we use loads of them for junk modelling. Take them along to your nearest one - they'll put them to good use (they make great wheels!)
