Leather shoes

i recently bought a lovely pair of leather pump style shoes.They are my size and fit nicely ..but the leather is so hard ! I have been rubbing Renapur into them with no effect . I have worn them once and got a blister for my trouble .What else can I do to soften them up ?

Snigger ye not ...the only thing I wax these days is my top lip and my davenport .
I was so fed up with the weather yesterday and the slow internet I cleared off to bed early with a book .
Doesn't look very promising again today either and for creakies like moi the arthritis index is on extreme .
Now then ,which raincoat shall I wear today ...yes I think the pink one ..it clashes a bit with my trolley but you can't be too fussy in this weather .

That's a posh trolley! I could only afford a common or garden variety with 2 wheels, which I now have to take to the shops, I always buy too much and end up with bags on top of trolly, as I'm used to taking the car, and the whole caboodle woobles dangerously as I shuffle home.

Lol .. Neti I think they call the ones in the pic Sholleys ..I remember my Mum had one .Mr S. bought me a posh one from Leifheit and it was very kind of him but it languishes in the cupboard .I cannot get on with the wretched thing and don't want to get moaned at in the High St or supermarket for being a menace with it .The only thing I do use it for is lugging the library books home as like you I have to struggle up a hill ...although a Norfolk hill is probably not as steep as a Spanish one .

Probably is as steep, but you probably have pavements whereas I have rough ground and loose stones the size of rocks, and no straight path, so have to weave my way home.
Also whereas we call it a mountain, it is in reality only a hill.

Don't think the trolley will last too long. Be glad when I can drive again. I literally have sweat dripping from my brow as I type, it's horrible.

it's all the rain...lol

I've got a plain black 2 wheeler from M&S, well worth paying a bit extra for - why are they always garish colours or tartan, for heaven's sake?! It's got an extendable handle which is good when you're tall...nothing worse than pulling it onto the back of your ankles. Now I just shove it onto other people's ankles, and it's great for keeping people from getting too close in a queue. If I walk fast enough , it looks like a suitcase, so I wear my shades & a sombrero. :o)

Hi everyone just to let you all know that I am going to Stockport for a couple of days. (Actually it is a place to come from not go to.] I will get in touch when I get back. I am taking flippers and a snorkel just in case, having seen the forcast for the rest of the week. Ugh.

We have just come back from the fleshpots of Lowestoft ...it is now tipping it down again ..thunder and hailstones !
I have never known such a dismal summer for ages . Most depressing .But at least I had a full English and Mr S bought me some very nice summer trousers in Marks ( I was marched past the bags ) ...when will I be able to wear them though ? I suppose I could always roll them up to me knees as I wade up the garden .

Afternoon all B****y weather. Wombledon's a shambles at the mo much to my disgust!.
I have to apologise for Maggie shouting - she asked me to tell you she is still learning. By the way Vinny she's had instructions not to spill any beans on me LOL.
Apart from the weather I hope everyone is ok. I've had my usual Tuesday, Tai Chi and a pub lunch.
May have a different place to go tomorrow night. Tell you about it if I end up going - if you see what I mean.
I'm a bit fed up at the mo so I'll sign off and may be more cheerful later on. Bye for now :o)

Ooooh ..we just had a sunny window here ....all of about an hour of sunshine and I will not be deflated ...I sat out in the garden and whipped me top off to the right to bare my arthritic bldy shoulder and neck to the elements . Ooh it was lovely ..but didn't last long .i want sun ..sun and more sun ..I want to lay out in the garden and sun myself .........Sob !
