A leak through a door frame

Last night in the heavy rain in London, I was woken up by a dripping sound.

The rain had seeped through the wooden door frame and made its way into the warm.

Any quick fix that i can use, or wil the whole frame need replacing?

Without having a look, or a very good description, it's impossible to say, as the cause could be many things.

I would suggest, until it happens again, do nothing.

I assume that you mean that water entered between the frame and brickwork. Nip into your local builders merchants, Homebase, B&Q etc and purchase a tube of sealant mastic (there are several makes, read the descriptions for the right one) and a mastic gun. Both inexpensive. Then put a bead of mastic right round the frame on the outside making sure that the mastic sticks each side to both the brickwork and the frame. Easy to do and that's all there is to it !!

Looked at it last night.

The wood has spilt, so the leak is seeping through the gap. Its not constant, so its probably only a couple of millimetres.

So, mastic should still be able to do that?

For that sort of problem you just need putty. Poke, shove and spread the putty into the cracks and then clean it off the woodwork. You can repaint later.
