We have recently had our bathroom refitted, however the bloke who did it has bodged the sealant around the bottom of the bath and the floor, and we now want to take it up - any ideas on the best and least messy way of doing this?

thanks

get the guy who did it to come back and do a proper job.
You can buy a mastic remover called "Silicone eater", you may also be able to remove it with a sharp scraper, good luck, Ray
Isn`t there some type of tool you can buy that scrapes silicone off? and as for applying new silicone I use a little plastic thingy-me-bob called a joint boy, it leaves a perfect bed of silicone every time but the only downside is it wastes quite alot but then again if the customers happy then its worth it
