Anybody had dealings with this company or had any work done by them? They produce a coating for the outside of your house, especially if your have rendering or roughcast. The salesman wouldn't give me an idea of the price unless we went through all the options first. Please let me know your opinions.

Chris
I used to work in the texture coating/stone cladding industry some years ago, & the ways of selling it havn't changed that much. I'll list some points to be aware of.
1. The salemen are usually on 15% commision.
2. The company gets a kickback from the finance company, so the salesman will try to sell you finance.
3. Beware of the showhome 'pitch'.
4. Remember that the product is expensive...you will be paying for advertising, commisions etc.
5. 15 year guarantees mean nothing if the company goes bust.
6. DON'T trust the salesman...they're as slippery as an eel in a tub of grease !

I hope this helps.
