hi
just about to hang some lining paper on some not so perfect walls but always get alot of bubbles which look awful when painted although i think i rub it out enough when hanging!! (i think)
am i using the wrong grade paper ?(thick/heavy weight).
any handy tips to try

I always use a roller than a brush to put the paste on. This ensures an even distribution.
Depending on the thickness of the paper I would normally past maybe 2 - 3 or 4 drops at a time. When you have finished pasting the last drop it is time to hang the first drop. That way it gives the paper time to absorb the paste.
