Carpet Marks

Can anyone tell me how you get mascara marks of a carpet, it is not a deep pile carpet it is just the black marks look so unsightly

Bob - Try using some neat washing machine liquid ( any brand will do )

When you say washing-machine liquid do you mean as in DAZ/AERIAL, or FAIRY/MORNING FRESH

That Vanish stuff is good but personally I'd pick as much out as I could and then cut the rest out with scissors

There are some carpet stain remover wipes that you can get from Marks and Spencer, Ive used them on various things and always been pleased. Only thing is they can work too well and make the rest of the carpet look like it needs cleaning.

Somebody was saying the other week on here, that neat vodka worked onshoe polish that was spilt on a carpet.
