Washing Machine Leak

Well flood actually. I was given a machine and I cleaned out the filter & plumbed it in & set it to wash. 10 seconds later my kitchen floor was swimming. The water was pouring into the drawer and straight out of the filter!!! Did I not put it back properley, it won't go back in tightly now. Please help

Some filters (the screw-in types) have a rubber collar that must be fitted correctly on the filter before you screw it in. If fitted corrected you will feel it getting tighter as the rubber compresses. Check the position of the rubber collar before attempting to tighten.
look for money or other small object. I'm not kidding i spent ages truing to get my filter back in eventually find a 5 pence piece in side it . all so make sure you haven't x threaded it
