I have a 'Goretex' coat which has started to leak. The tape inside the seams has lifted away from the fabric. What adhesive should I use to stick the tape back down and is it generally available ?

You can probably use any good waterproof epoxy glue (NOT superglue - this isn't waterproof). The seams aren't ususally breathable so this shouldn't cause any problems with overall performance of the jacket.

It may be worth talking to the jacket manufacturer - if it's one of the 'big boys' they sometimes offer a repair service (I have a friend whose jacket was replaced foc when the seams went!).
