Chances are there's nothing to worry about. Assuming the plumber didn't use an excessive amount of sealant, you should have no trouble. If it is a modern washer then it may detect any problems on the intake and waste flow pipes (i.e., loss of pressure / excess pressure) before it usually becomes a problem. If it's not a recent model, then just listen out for any unusal noises and the washer not emptying properly. However, I'd be surprised if you do encounter problems based on the sealant build up in a pipe.
