White spots

I occasionally get these white spots on my face which when you get the head out it is like a hard core. Does anyone know what these spots are? Also, I usually sterlise a needle and get the white head out that way; is there an easier way?

Hi, this is Millia. I have it too. Such a pain. I don't recommend using a needle as this may well leave small scars. I now have a few! I fing a good facial scrub helps to break the skin down and then they are easier to remove. Also microdermabrasion at a beauty therapist helped me a bit. Cleansing and toning are a must for prevention though!

The above 2 answers are right, they are the same, i get them under my eye, although they arnt there at the moment, i can feel when they are coming and i roll my skin in my fingers...??? lol
They take ages to come so that you can get them out, i did use a needle once but i think its better to just squeeze them when they are ready and then the next day when they have scabbed a bit squeeze them again and the white hard thing comes out, they go away for months then.
Im gonna check out this website link though and see if there is a better way to get rid of them.

the spots are called millia usually you get them round the eyes as thats the most sensitive area on the face, maybe change your cream especially if its an eye cream because they are often too rich for the skin, the best way to get rid of them is to use a needle ike your aready doing! wallah!
