curtains

i have splashed red hair dye onto laura ashley hand made curtains,they are a slightly waxey material that isnt made anymore?they dont have washing labels on
what shall i do

would it be possible to soak the curtains in cold water for a while, i know this removes stains eg, blood dirt, etc.

I would contact Laura Ashley and ask them.
Was it semi-permanent or temporary hair dye?
A good curtain shop may be able to give advice.
