I posted a question a couple of days ago about removing a rust stain from a cream carpet. The lovely BOO told me to try neat lemon juice and it worked a treat. It might work for blackcurrant. I've just attacked the cream carpet in my son's bedroom and managed to remove tomato stains (from a pizza) and cola stains with 1001 carpet cleaner, available from any supermarket. Good luck!
you could try spraying with vanish directly onto the stain, leave it for 10 mins and then gently rub it with a clean damp cloth several times and it should come out.
