Water in electric shower unit

whilst cleaning my electric shower unit, some water leaked into the electrics and the fuses went. i immediately opened up the unit, after switching it at the mains, and let it dry. i tried it again and the fuses went again. can anyone tell me what i need to do? will be most greatful.

Get it checked by a qualified electrician, water and electicity do NOT mix. It might dry out by itself, then again you may have done some permanent damage better to be safe then sorry
