Biro ink on leather

Can any one tell me what I can use on light colour expensive leather sofa to get biro ink off?

Neat fairy liquid is good for removing biro marks, but can't guarantee it for light coloured leather.

hair spray - it works instantly for biro on leather and fabrics ! it dissolves the ink and you can just wipe it off !

My little boy got ink on my leather sofa, we phoned the shop that we bought it from & they said to just keep wiping it every day with water ..... it took a while but it has gone, don't rub to hard though
