vac machine

I am thinjing of buying a vac machine, to clean my carpets. Anyone out ther think that they are worth buying? If so which one is the best

We had a vax once, it ended up spitting water up the walls. Not an overwhelming success.

I have the Hoover Brush n Wash & I would give it 10 out of 10. Its a brilliant machine, easy to use with rotating brushes that really get the carpets clean. It also leaves the area cleaned almost dry. Certainly not as cheap as the Vax if thats the one you mentioned but you wouldn't be sorry if you bought this one. hope this helps

Personally I think that once you start cleaning your carpets, they lose their resistance to dirt and get dirtier much quicker and ruin your carpets. When vax etc first came popular I used to use them 2-3 times a year, but now I wouldnt dream of using one!
