newly laid turf problem

I had turf laid 4 weeks ago i have soakened it ever day with water but it is turning brown at the top of the blades of grass and at the bottom of the blades of grass is turning into a brown mush and the edgea are a yellow brown colour. What can i do

You`re probably drowning it, so stop watering and give it a chance to dry a little. The weather will be quite wet enough to satisfy it`s needs at this time of year.
