Using garden incinerator.

Has anyone got any tips for a good way to start off one of those galvanised garden waste incinerators. I find it difficult to get it burning and it goes out usually soon after I put a few leaves or branches in.

Build up some kindling around the kindlecone and wait 3-5 minutes until that fully takes hold, then start adding smaller dryer stuff and gradually build up to fill the incinerator just above the vent holes, then place the lid on and wait untikl that burns down below the top two layers of vent holes before topping up again.
