Knife rack with sharpener
8 Answers
Does anybody know if you can buy a knife rack that has an integral sharpener in the slot, so that when you put the knife in the rack, or take it out, it automatically sharpens it?

I have had one for the last 20 years and its still works perfectly. Someone gave us a 'Wiltshire Stay sharp' carving knife as a wedding present, and it is brilliant. It comes with a scabbard, and you just pull it out and it self sharpens. they were made and invented in Australia, and I recently asked someone who was visiting relatives to bring me a smaller knife back. Its equally good. I think they do blocks as well. I guess you may be able to get them online.
