broad beans

just ate me first lot of home grown broad beans. They are the best veg ever,a little bit of butter melted over the top a few jersey spuds to go with them fantastic. Anyone else enjoying broad beans for tea?

glad you enjoyed your beans. I love broad beans especially with a nice thick slice of boiled bacon, peace pudding ,and jersey potatoes with butter on . they go well with salad cold.
I gather from your name you dont eat meat so hope you don't mind me mentioning bacon

How did you get them to grow so early?

I love them with fish and parsley sauce, and new potatoes.

Do you find new potatoes just don't taste the same? Even the Jersey Royals! Or is it me?
