Chilli growing medium

Can someone tell me what type of compost etc. do I need to use to pot on 2 Chilli plants I have been given.They are about 100mm tall and are in extremely small pots at present. Thanks

I grew them from seed a few years ago and just used ordinary potting compost for houseplants (was all I had) and they thrived.
I've always used ordinary multipurpose compost or gro-bag compost. I think it is as important to grow them in a hot sunny place and feed them with tomato food when the flowers have set.

I get very good results in a west-facing conservatory.
Yep, multi purpose compost gives excellent results with chillis.

Thanks for replies, I have a south east facing conservatory and it retains its warmth extremely well, it gets a further boost when the late afternoon sun swings round. I have repotted with multi purpose compost and will see how they do.
