If there is any salt bins near you, for the roads in winter *ours is full all yr round lol* use the salt that kills the weeds on the borders of my path

Or buy some cheap salt at the supermarket and mix with hot water and use on the patio, or just neat on the grass, try to keep away from the grass, put it in the middle of the weed so it sinks down.
