I know full well what it's like from experience over a number of years!
Footballs should be banned from gardens. I should imagine you are very popular with your neighbours-not!
Whether your house is rented and theirs are owned makes not a jot of difference-an anti-social neighbour is an anti-social neighbour.
If your children MUST play football, then make the effort to take them to a park where they are not likely to cause annoyance to anyone. If you are unable to take them to a park, for whatever reason, then tough! You would be wise not to inflict their noisy games on your neighbours.

hi everyone thanks for your answers and opinions but emily yes i do take my children out to all sorts of places including the park but when my 2 yr old, 5 yr old and 7 yr old ask if they can play in their own big back garden i am not going to say no unless the weather is bad, also they do not got over the neighbours fence as they are way too small, yes we have knocked on and asked them politely and apologised to them for their inconvenience, it is not offen the ball goes into their garden, we have lived at our home for 7 yr now and the ball has gone over around 4 times and they were childrens balls ( blow away )
