can anyone remember dreft and fairy hand washing powder?

Yeah I remember them. I also remember the fairy bar of soap hand washing. My gran used to use it to treat stains before putting the clothes in the twintub lol. The other one I remember is lux soap flakes. Is that the one you were thinking of?

Red coloured carbolic soap, remember my mum and granny scrubbing the stairs with it, bloody stunk, and they used some sort of red polish on them!!!!
